Welcome Back Kaiser Cats!

It is with great honor that I return for the 2015-2016 school year as your principal. I enjoy being a Kaiser Cat and working amongst stellar teachers, counselors and staff, all while interacting with the best high school students.

This year will encompass many changes both procedurally and instructionally as we continue to implement Common Core State Standards, however with collaboration, communication, and hard work…Kaiser will remain #1! In pursuing academic excellence, honor and victory we continue to focus on getting our Kaiser Cats to college! Our Academics, Performing Arts, Activities and Athletics are second to none and we anticipate this year to be one of continued success.

With a student body of 2400 students, our College Readiness Index (CRI) is 42.2%, with 39% of our students taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses and exams. We have the best Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program, with 100% of those students eligible for a four year university; an outstanding Associated Student Body (ASB), Band/ Color Guard, award winning Drama program, counselors, teachers and staff, not to mention our incredible Athletics. All of these parts combined ensure Kaiser is #1!

We are very proud of our accomplishments, and know that the 2015-2016 school year will be even better!! You have made the right choice in your continued commitment to the community of Henry J. Kaiser High School.
