Fontana A.B. Miller High School is one of six member schools that comprise the Mountain Valley League.

Miller fields teams in 18 boys', girls' and co-educational sports on two to three different levels (Varsity, Junior Varsity, & Frosh).

To participate on a team each student is required to maintain a 2.0 grade point average.  To help our students make the academic grades necessary, A.B. Miller runs an academic accountability program for it’s athletes.  The staff member who developed and oversees the program is responsible for tracking grades, making parent contacts, tutoring, and serving as a student, teacher, parent liaison.

The school year is divided into three seasons, fall, winter, and spring.  The fall season begins in August and ends in November.  It consists of Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity and JV Cross Country, Varsity, and Frosh/Soph Football, Varsity, JV, and Frosh Girls’ Volleyball, and Girls’ Golf Girls' Tennis.

Next comes the winter season starting in November and ending in February.  Winter sports are:  Girls’ and Boys’ Varsity , JV, and Frosh Basketball, Girls’ and Boys’ Varsity and JV Soccer, Varsity and JV Boys' Wrestling, and Girls' Wrestling.

Finally we come to the spring season which begins in February and ends in May.  The spring sports are:  Varsity, and JV Baseball, Varsity, and JV Softball, Boys' Golf, Boys’ Tennis, Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity and JV Track and Field, and Boys’ Varsity and JV Volleyball.

Tryout dates vary from sport to sport.  Students interested in participating in any sport should contact the coach or athletic office.
