**NO SCHOOL...Monday, September 6th...Labor Day Holiday...GO KAISER CATS! **

Dear Kaiser Cat Families,

I want to welcome you to another the 2010/2011 school year.  This year will prove to be another outstanding year for Kaiser High School, where the Great become GREATER!  HOPE! DEDICATION! COMMITMENT! These three values define the students, parents and staff of Kaiser High School and it is my honor to serve you as the principal. Kaiser is a wonderful place for students from diverse backgrounds to grow educationally, get involved, and have a meaningful high school experience.  In every way that schools are measured, whether it is academically, in the performing arts, or athletically, Kaiser High School excels.

Our curriculum, course offerings, co- and extra-curricular offerings are second to none.  We strive to create an environment where each and every student is given the attention necessary to achieve his/her individual success.  Furthermore, administrators, counselors, teachers and staff are here because they truly believe in a commitment to excellence for every stakeholder!  We work as a team, in professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze data, differentiate instruction and ensure that ALL STUDENTS LEARN...Together We Build!
Finally, I encourage all students to take advantage of the possibilities and become involved in the extracurricular activities that interest them.  When students become involved in sports, music, drama, and/or school sponsored clubs, scholastic achievement often improves.  Becoming involved teaches our students to budget their time, keeps them involved in productive activities, and holds them in structured, supervised settings with school aged peers with similar values and goals.  I challenge every Kaiser Cat to get involved!

March 2010

Jacqueline Flores
12th Grader

Jacqueline Flores last year was enrolled in Video Productions and now is enrolled in TV News. She consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and a dedication to success. Her skills have grown and developed over this time, as evidenced by watching her interact with fellow students and teachers. This was especially true when she would film different projects. She came from being very shy to very outgoing and engaging. When she began reporting in front of the camera, she became a natural. Her determination to succeed in these classes makes her an excellent role model, for both current and future students.

April 2010

Brenda Dueñas
12th Grader

It is a pleasure to select Brenda Dueñas as the Student of the Month for the month of April. Brenda has excelled all throughout her school years. Her classmates look up to her and respect her a lot not only for her achievements, but also for her personality. She is well-liked by all of them. In addition, she is a very talented young lady who has shared her artistic talents (sketching, drawing and painting) with her peers and teachers as well. (I would be more than happy to share some of her art work). Academically speaking, Brenda has only received A's in all of years at Kaiser HS. Currently, she holds a 4.7 Term GPA and a 4.5 Cumulative GPA. She has raised the bar for her peers and leaves a legacy of what Kaiser Cats can do!
