* * *Welcome to Kaiser High School - Home of the Cats!  * * *

Kaiser Cat Family,

As we approach the end of the school year, we are reminded of the many successes of our Kaiser Cats! We have been witness to the dedication and perseverance of our students in their academics which has resulted in many new and fulfilling achievements, including our cross country team being named the CIF ALL ACADEMIC TEAM, with an overall GPA of 3.94!  Our senior graduates are gaining acceptances to prestigious universities and two students were awarded the Gates Millennium Scholarship of $500,000.00, one was awarded the Southern California Edison Scholarship for $40,000.00 and two were awarded the Dell Scholarship of $20,000.00.

All of our students’ achievements could not be possible without the support they receive from all members of our school community. Thank you to the teachers, educational assistants, and support staff who work tirelessly to make learning at our school possible. Thank you also to all of our parents and guardians who support our students in so many ways. Whether you attended competitions or the games, help and encourage with homework, provide a morning wake-up call or serve as a daily taxi service we know that your efforts and encouragement have contributed to their school success.

I ask that all students, parents, and guardians stay on top of assignments and monitor Zangle Parent/Student connect as we head to the students' last school day and Graduation. Teachers are focusing on important curriculum material that prepare students for finals and new classes beginning next year. Attendance is crucial, so I ask all students to be here every day.

Sincerely,

Terry Abernathy

Principal
