Dear South Tamarind Families,
Welcome to a new school-year (2011-2012). We hope you had a restful summer and are ready to continue our partnership in making student academic success a reality.
This year we are continuing the implementation of the No Excuses University program at South Tamarind. It is a program that focuses on bringing college awareness to our students as well as school spirit and more importantly a culture of academic excellence.
Some of the components of the No Excuses University Program are:
- Each of our Classrooms will represent a university. Your child’s teacher will be sharing the specific colors of that university with you.
- Every Friday we will wear university shirts or the color of our university.
- Students, Teachers, and Parents pledge to commit ourselves to student academic excellence.
I’m looking forward to a stellar year with all our students, the South Tamarind Stars.
