Welcome back Sierra Lakes Sharks! It's going to be another fantastic year. The start of a new school year is an exciting time. It presents opportunities for various beginnings-new classes, new faces, and often new materials. The Sierra Lakes learning community would like to extend a warm welcome to all families old and new to Sierra Lakes.
The Sierra Lakes community is proud of its academic rigor and the commitment we have to the whole child. We work hard to ensure that each child's academic, social and emotional needs are met. Research clearly indicates the connection between attendance and student performance. Maintaining high standards of attendance creates opportunities for a greater level of academic, emotional, social, and physical success. Please assist us in making sure your child arrives to school on time, every day, and on a positive note.
This year, as in the past, we must concentrate on the processes that spur continued advancement: evaluating what we have, determining what we can do to improve, and identifying what we need to make those improvements.
Parent involvement is also important at Sierra Lakes Elementary School. We hope you will choose to be involved by volunteering or serving as a member of one of our many parent organizations. Your participation is encouraged! Working together, we will be able to reach our collective and individual goals. We look forward to celebrating with you the achievements of our students.
